Tomorrow I’m off to the world’s first blogging festival – Blogstock. So as you can guess I’m in the midst of packing (ok I lie, I’m painting my toe nails) but it’s all part of the planning process.
Festivals are all in the preparation, both packing and beauty planning.
First up, toe nail painting – I’ve gone for Models Own Hypergel in Summer Solstice. I’ve found the hypergel nail varnish range to be the most durable.
According to the weather forecast it’s going to be typically British and rain (a lot) oh and hurricane Bertha is due to hit on Sunday…. with this firmly in mind I shall be packing my wellies. My go to boots for everything, including stomping around in the mud at the stables are Dubarry boots.
So that’s keeping dry sorted (well ish).
Next up festival essentials; toilet roll, hand sanitizer, face wipes and the MOST important of all dry shampoo.
Now, what to wear? The weather is going to be warm but wet so it maybe the classic shorts and wellies combo which has become a staple of mine at festivals.
So with the packing side of it sorted, time to look at the schedule and speakers. There’s some great sessions including breakfast with Pinterest, getting noticed by travel brands and a whole host of fashion speakers in the Fashion Galleries tent.
Aside from the conference sessions rumour has it there will be a rum bus, a go-kart track sponsored by Hertz, a village fete and much more.
This is a great opportunity to hear from some of the best in the business.
