What do you get if you put some snazzy tents, a village fete, a go-kart track and some excellent speakers and bloggers covering a number of niches in a field together?
The worlds first blogging festival, Blogstock of course.
I attended some really interesting and insightful sessions including making the most of Pinterest lead by the UK team, the ethics of blogging moderated by Kevin May and an utterly inspiring talk from Sarah Andrews founder of The Fashion Galleries and Rob one of the founding brother of Gandys Flip Flops on starting a fashion business.
I picked up some great tips including outsourcing jobs to members of Fiverr.com which means I should have a snazzy new logo in the next few weeks.
The whole weekend was expertly organised by the Traverse team and ran seamlessly despite the odd downpour or two.
I’m off to put the things I have learnt into place.
Roll on next year
