LFW with The Outnet and British Fashion Council

Last night I was lucky enough to be a guest at The Outnet and British Fashion Council’s influential women event at London Fashion Weekend and it was fabulous.

If you’ve been following any of the coverage of London Fashion Week you would have heard about The Outnet’s Shoe Hunter, Sergio. Well last night I was lucky enough to meet the dapper little hound. It has been such a cool campaign from The Outnet, check out all videos here.

The evening kick off with a talk from Caroline Rush, head of British Fashion Council and Eve Thomas, styling director at The Outnet.

Social media has changed the way we see #LFW, it used to be a very closed industry event but now with Instagram, Twitter etc. anyone can enjoy the shows from the comfort of their sofa. One of Eve’s top tips for styling was ‘know your body shape and have fun with fashion.’

Next up was the Trend Show featuring clothes from The Outnet and can be bought online now! The collections were split into four themes – One & Only which focused on block colour, Candy Crush, pastel shades for autumn and winter, Jungle Fever with an abundance of exotic motifs and tribal prints and finally Fairy Tale Ending with designers looking to their favourite fairy tales for inspiration.

So many beautiful outfits.

I was lucky enough to be given a very lovely goodie bag which included an exclusive to The Outnet Iris & Ink burgundy cashmere blend scarf – the perfect colour for autumn, a china cappuccino mug which makes a fantastic make-up brush holder and £100 store credit for The Outnet.
