Now, if you’ve read any of my previous blogs you’ll know that I LOVE Sophia Webster shoes – in my eyes the girl can do no wrong. Her designs are fresh, new and exciting, but I was yet to own any – until now! On Thursday morning I went to shoe heaven at the Sophia Webster sample sale.
I had gone to the sale in the hope to find my wedding shoes (I’ve already chosen them, but i’m yet to find a dress) but I did have suspicion that my chose foot furniture would be too popular to be included in the sale – my suspicions were right.
But, I wasn’t going to let this stop me from spending my hard earned cash on beautiful shoes. Clutching my invitation I arrived at the Music Room on South Molton Lane thinking I was going to be really early – how wrong was I? Sophia Webster is super popular and there was already a queue forming when I got there.
When I got through the doors the sale was neatly split between past collections and one off samples. Despite being a self confessed shoeaholic I think I was quite reserved and only picked up shoes which I instantly fell in love with, whereas other ladies had piles of shoeboxes in hand – to be honest I think I was more impressed with their ability to navigate a packed room carry a pile of five shoe boxes high!

I came away feeling a little smug with two pairs of gorgeous shoes, one from the sample selection and one from a past collection.
The wedges were from the samples section and I cannot wait to wear these when I am holiday in Turkey later this summer. I’m also trying to find a dress for a this summer wedding I can match them with and the flats are from last seasons collection and I’m hoping the good old British summer will make an appearance so I can wear these to work.
I’m so pleased I made it to the sample sale as it was well worth it because the price bracket of shoes ranged from £60 up to £250 which is a fraction of the price of shoes bought in the current season.
Now that I have my mitts on my own Sophia Webster shoes I can’t wait to increase my collection and purchase my wedding shoes.
Sod the dress, it’s the shoes which matter the most.
