Chocolate lovers rejoice – Free Chocolate

If you’re anything like me and love chocolate you have to get
yourself over to the East Village E20 this Saturday (19th March) for
their first ever Chocolate Festival.

The Chockney Box

The best bit about it all? It’s absolutely free! Some of London’s
best chocolatiers will be there hosting demos; there’ll be Easter Egg hunts and
even a chocolate London skyline! There’s also going to be plenty of tasting
opportunities – everything from chocolate pizzas to chocolate cocktails and
chocolate and wine pairings.

As you’ll be in the East End of London you should whip out a few
rhyming slang phrases and have a cup of Rosy Lee before going for a Ruby
Murray. These phrases are dying out and to help revive this, East Village E20
has unveiled the ‘E20 Chockney Box’ which will help you learn the phrases. And
the best bit…. You’ll be able to sample all of the new flavours during the
chocolate festival.

The festival is running from 12 – 8pm with the more grown up (read
boozy) events happening from 4 – 8pm. Who can resist a chocolate cocktail trail
through the East Village’s bars and restaurants!

It’s being held at Victory Park, East Village, which is the former
Olympic Athletes’ Village. Check out more information about the Chocolate
Festival here.
