GlamGlow Powermud Dualcleanse treatment first impressions

Over the past few weeks everywhere I’ve looked I’ve seen GlamGlow being tested, so I’ve jumped on the bandwagon to see what all the fuss is about.

The full sized products cost £39 but luckily they do a mini version for only £14 which is a little kinder on the pocket, especially if you’re unsure whether it’s right for you and your skin.

I really wanted the Gravity firming mud but they don’t do this/I couldn’t find it in the small version so I went for the Dualcleanse treatment which comes in a bright green metallic pot. The packaging is gorgeous, although simple,it looks great.

So what is the Dualcleanse I hear you cry….. or not!

Dualcleanse is a mud to oil treatment designed to rid the skin of weekly build up to leave it super clean and velvety soft. I applied it using an old MAC make up brush which I no longer use before leaving it to dry. I found washing it using my hands in circular motions turned the mud into an oil cleanse, which is so nice on the skin.

I’ve been using it once a week and found it really has made a difference to my skin.

The only downside I found was it smells a lot like apple sourz shots and it’s not something I can easily smell after a few drunken incidents when I was in my younger years! I would imagine they were going to apple scented but it’s a little too strong for me. Aside from that I’m 100% going to continue using it.

I’m also quite keen to try the firming mask which applies white but then turns into a silver peel off mask – it looks so satisfying.

Have you tried any of the GlamGlow products? What did you think?

That looks really nice! I actually quite like apple smelling things too, so I might like it. So what sort of skin do you have/think it’s best for? x

I think the apple sourz incident has put me off for life…….. but it is a really fabulous face mask. I’ve got combination skin and found that it was really hydrating on the dry bits but didn’t leave it feeling too oily after xx
