Charlotte Tilbury Sex on Fire Blusher Review

I’ve spoken before about my love for Charlotte Tilbury make-up and how in my eyes she can literally do no wrong with her products. Well except for the Scent of a Dream perfume, that is not the one for me.

I recently won a massive beauty bundle in a raffle at the John Lewis event I attended and one of the products in the prize was the cheek to chic swish & pop blusher in Sex on Fire. I’ve had this blusher on my radar for a while but I’ve been trying to abstain from buying lots of new beauty products when I’ve got quite a few on the go at the moment. (Basically, I’m running out of space!).

The idea behind the Swish & Pop design is you swish the brush around the soft rose pink around the outside and then use the pointed end of the blusher brush on the ‘pop’ in the middle. Sex on Fire is a soft rose pink with a darker vintage pink in the centre.

First time I used it I have to say I did end up a little clown like with the darker pink on the apples of my cheeks – lesson of this story: blend, blend, blend! Rather than swishing and popping I’ve been blending both colours together to create the most gorgeous vintage rose pink. Such a perfect colour for spring.

The colour pigmentation and payoff is beautiful and don’t get me started on the packaging, it’s so sleek and chic.

So in my mind the Sex on Fire blusher is the most divine colour for spring/summer and I’ll I can see it being a regular feature in my make-up routine.

Have you tried it before? What did you think? Was it a winner for you?
