I am incredibly lucky and have a job that allows me to travel the world and work on amazing projects and clients. In the last 13 years I’ve been to so many incredible places that I may not have seen had I not been in the career that I’m in.
One of the most recent projects I’ve been working on is Ainsley’s Caribbean Kitchen and in particular facilitating the crew visit and filming in Dominica and Antigua. What and experience it was. Firstly, Ainsley is the nicest person ever and an amazing chef. He was so kind and welcoming to everyone he met and really engaged even during the slightly more tricky interviews.
I was with the crew acting as a fixer, carrier of things/all-round useful person because I look after the PR in the UK for Dominica and Antigua.
It was amazing to see but such hard work and long days in the heat. Although I’ve supported on filming projects before they’ve been on a smaller scale so the amount of content being filmed was much less. But for this each episode is an hour long so the amount of footage needed is vast.
I thought I’d share with you some of the behind the scenes pictures I took whilst in Dominica.
